Miniature beagle puppies as a breed have been around since Egyptian Pharaohs kept them as playthings of an idle moment, their mummified remains being found inside the royal tombs.
They are bred specifically for sale to enthusiasts who willingly pay premium prices for these tiny tea-cup sized midgets of the canine world. King Charles in the 1600′s loved his tiny spaniels so much that the breed itself was named after him.
In ancient times, noblemen bought these miniature beagle puppies as gifts for their lady loves. Today, movie stars and celebrities are often seen cradling their Chihuahuas in mink-clad arms as they hob-nob with elite peers or answer questions posed by curious media reporters.
Miniature beagle puppies are more popular these days because they don’t need much space to raise, and can be brought up easily even in over-crowded cities. You can walk the dog by taking a turn around the block, rather than having to go in search of a large ground or stadium to exercise your pooch.
Food costs are smaller, as are the hassles of cleaning up after ‘accidents’ inside the house. But the costs are rarely an important feature, considering that most people who buy miniature beagle puppies actually end up lavishing a small fortune on buying their pets specialist delicacies, designer clothing and ordering special services for their dogs.
Because of this, breeders specifically focus on a niche market selling tiny puppies from miniature breeds at expensive (often exorbitant) prices – which buyers willingly pay for these little wonders. This is a vastly profitable market, in case you’re considering entering it as a breeder yourself!
Regardless of size or breed, when you decide to pick up a pet from a sale, or accept one as a gift from a friend, the important thing to do is care for your companion and take good care of the little puppy who will trust and love you for a long time to come.
